Daniel Russo, known as russo, is a rising DJ & producer from New York, now based in Atlanta, quickly establishing himself as one of the Southeast’s most promising open-format DJs & artists. Known for diverse track selection and crowd control, he blends Miami Bass, EDM , Hip Hop/Rap, R&B, Jersey Club and Top 40 into a versatile, distinct sound.

In just over two years, russo has performed at nearly 100 venues and secured multiple residencies in the Southeast. He has supported nationally recognized acts including DJ Pauly D and Matroda, bringing his crowd-driven and prioritized style to high-profile stages across Atlanta and the rest of the east coast.

His releases have earned support from artists like K3ONI, Darby, Headspace, expanding his digital presence under @thedjrusso. With strong momentum heading into 2026 and beyond, russo continues to grow his production catalog and live brand, positioning himself as one of the next generation’s standout talents.
